Many people on this forum discuss the genetic lottery referring to looks and height, while these are important to find a partner and have some effect on success chad will never get into a college/ job over the 150iq ltn that has a 4.8 gpa.
IQ or intelligence quotient is in short the reasoning and deep thinking ability of a person. IQ is almost fully dependent on genetics although it can be effected by environment eg a child that lives in a first world country will interact with more literature and be forced to think more deeply during their development phase leading to a higher IQ however all the books in the world will not help a child born with 80 IQ since their brain will simply not be able to grasp complex concepts quickly or think in multi layered and nuanced ways.
IQ is invaluable in deciding a persons future success as people with 130+ IQ will naturally have a much easier time learning things and can aim for more prestigious schools and universities that will open many doors for them compared to someone who got all C’s and attended a community college. IQcells can cope with looks but will likely never match up to people with a higher IQ in success unless they win the lottery or their “niche clothing brand” somehow works out. Of course no amount of IQ will get girls though so it clearly isn’t everything just more important than it is made out to be on the forum.
