Width matter a lot boyo, you need both width and length to be very attractive, if you only have one you won't look good.
Length balances out width and width balances out length creating an harmonious results (this is also why MSE can make the midface appear shorter by adding width).

Width doesnt really matter for making you look mature and can also make you look low class + bloated.

Length is also one of the main factors contributing to the warrior skull side profile

So why the overwhelming majority of male models have a fwhr between 1.75 and 2.05 ?
Width without length makes you look low class, lenght without width is even less aesthetic .
My point is that you need both to be asthetic and almost all psl gods check that point
