Is acne the end of my appearance?

I'm 14 and I went to a cosmetologist and they told me I have comedone acne and that it can't be completely cured. What can I do to improve my appearance to look better with acne?

Accutane cures permanently 85% of comedonal acne. Even if yours is incurable, accutane will hide it completely due to closing pores.

I was prescribed a cleansing gel, a moisturizer, and an ointment with retinol. Will this help?

Maybe since retinoil is part of it but ideally you should do accutane
