Is anyone here even old enough to remember Y2K?

No one is even old enough to remember.... In the year 2,000 , they said every computer would shut down because it couldn't switch the digits to the next zeros. They said nothing would function. Gas stations wouldn't work, banks would close, and you wouldn't even be able to use the bathroom. People were stock piling and said it would be the end of the world. And then January 1, 2000 came and nothing happened.

I vaguely remember some talk about it but I absolutely did not have a concept of just how much people were freaking out about it. I do quite vividly remember NYE that year though.

I remember a few things before 2000 but the Y2K effect nope, not at all. 9/11 I remember it like it was yesterday.
