title, I have been thinking of this for a while because 9.9/10 people will rate chico attractive but there is still some people that will not be attracted to him is this because people have a "type" or what? I have been trying to find an explanation but the only thing I came to is the difference between "beauty" and "attraction"

Ye, not everyone is gonna find you attractive. But the higher your objective rating is the wider your appeal is

ive had decent looking female friends rate every model you can think of (sean,hernan,gandy) all look "unnatural" and "weird" while they are the pinnacle of looks (no glazing :lul:)
 
its mostly objective. For example every normal person would agrees artwork 1 is better than artwork 2

what i am trying to explain is that most people would mirin picture 2 more for theirr room but they would still acknowledge that overall picture one is better, therefore beauty is objective and subjective but mostly objective because they prefer picture 2 to put on their wall but still know picture 1 is better in overall beauty.

I mean everyone has a type that they prefer but objectively people can say who is beautiful and who is not even if they are not attracted to them so basically sum girls with choose their type that is objectively worst looking over a dude that is better looking and not their type its all about preference at the end of the day but there is always sum who dont even care and just want a guy that is objectively goodlooking it all depends what is considered attractive in the area that you live in and what type of dudes have widest reach if you understand what im saying

it's a bell curve. 68% will rate you your "objective" rating. 27% will rate you 1 SD above and below. and so on. but no one is rating a 1 a 10 or a 10 a 1.

the thing is, a healthy face will be attractive to everybody. a healthy face is characterized by the health of the skin, harmony, bone structure. if a person's face has top notch in all what i mentioned then his face will automatically be precieved as attractive by females as its just in our nature to be attracted to healthy individuals.
