Everything that differs from nature has the potential to be harmful, given that we are adapted to nature (the established order of the universe/status quo) and shaped by it (considering its enormous complexity too).

That said, the act of cycling doesn’t seem natural. So, could it be harmful? Could it lead to muscle imbalances?

well if you only do cycling and never train upper body => muscle imbalances
But cycling is not harmful by itself, it's too much of it that can be detrimental to you health.
an excellent source of cardio and leg training tho and multiple other benefits if you do it outdoor and outside of a polluted area (like the city)

I REFUSE to believe OP is older than 14

No, absolutely no excersize is beneficial. Excersize derives from the word exertion, to use energy beyond your normal levels. This causes stress and damage in the body. All stress ages you. Go ahead and cycle if you want to destroy your body!

I mean could it create muscle imbalances in the legs themselves? Doesn't seem like a natural movement

Not everyone here is a low iq rotter. Some are deep into health

I'd need to find their replies to get their @, but generally they're in the comments of Carnivore diet threads
ooh I see is it IAMNOTANINCEL ? he does look informed

Nah, I've been lurking on org for a long time and stopped for some months, maybe the users I'm talking about are not on here anymore. They were extremely deep into holistic health
