Is buying a live chicken and getting eggs from it a good investment or nah?

Idk where you live but in the US owning chickens is not economical whatsoever don’t do it unless you have a passion for homesteading or poultry

Although the macro and micronutrient profiles of your own (fertile) eggs is significantly superior to anything at a store
