is daily ab training optimal?

obviously lean max is law
but for maximising ab development is training them daily a good idea, since they’re a small muscle group and recover fast, apparently? or would it be more optimal to only train them 2x a week to get maximum development?

optimal would be every 2nd day

but my mate who trained them everyday had rly good ones

Do them everyday at the end of workouts, or the start to get them out of the way.

work ur whole body everyday who tf says to let them rest
 
training abs every other day with weights is optimal.

nah, not if you just train the normal core muscles with stuff like sit ups etc
leg raises and weighted curnches won’t cause wider waist?

do it biweekly and pray for 8 hours inbetween

when i flex my core, my waist does not increase at all. its different muscles (obliques)
