Can doing a dopamine detox rewire your brain so you are less likely to engage in addictions and more likely to work on your goals?

idk but i did something like that where i deleted tiktok and insta and promised myself i wouldn’t reinstall and it’s been a bout a month and a week now and my screen time is way lower and im actually studying for my college classes and im getting better sleep ive tried this like 10 times tho in the past year and ive always downloaded again in 3-4 days but it worked this time also maybe the reason this worked is because i bought an apple watch like 2 months ago and it helps me stay off my phone.

insta and tiktok are terrible time wasting activities. Also youtube too. Glad you have stayed off them for a month. The apple watch tho, that could be addicting and constantly checking it

Youtube is heavily addictive for me. I will be watching videos on self improvement for like 4 hours. When really those 4 hours could of been spent improving my life. Knowledge is useless without action. I already know the basics on how to improve my life. I dont need to spend 1,000 hours on YouTube learning some magic formula where everything just clicks. It can be really simple.
as I said before I can focus on a topic like 2 hours maximum before it was like 20 min max
Amazing focus gains.

The issue is its hard to moneymax and lifemax if you spend your free time getting wasted at bars and playing video games. There needs to be discipline

it may serve as a temporary restoration that would allow methods in which you fix your dopamine naturally to be more attainable and or easy/simple. it would not completely change you as your genes would just lead you back into these old habits.

yes imo but you will fall for it again sooner or later

nah, redpill manoshpere cringe shit
