Though you can cook your steak rare and still have the benefits that the raw meat has. If you cook your food in a special oven, under 30°C, you will not destroy any enzyme whatsoever

Farms, Butchers, Local Farms are the best for a variety of reasons. Make sure the protein is grass fed and pastured, see the living conditions of the animals. Talk with your farmer

Im sure eating some raw salmon you caught in the middle of nowhere in the swedish fjords is ok, but farmed animals are all packed so close together by the thousands and that makes diseases and viruses easy to spread. Maybe your dog benefits from eating questionable raw chicken but your dog also eats off the floor and licks its own ass. Humans need to cook their meat except for certain rare circumstances. You wont lose much nutrition anyways

The nutrition loss is only a thing if you're overcooking it. Raw meat isn't a meme it's eaten around the world and all your ancestors ate raw meat, it's just exaggerated how many nutrients are lost from cooking. The health benefits of cooking outweigh the marginal nutrient loss. But if a meat or fish is high quality enough, then raw is best. That is why raw meat and fish is such a delicacy in expensive French and Japanese restaurants.

I dont' have time to have a lengthy discussion right now but I will say that a big thing raw meat has over cooked meat is the digestion.I don't believe in just accepting what people say wholesale. Aajonus mixed a lot of truths in with new age pseudo-science which is perhaps why he has so many hippy followers. On balance his ideas are good and an improvement on typical western diets, his emphasis on whole foods, nose to tail eating, avoiding man-made plants, and avoiding pharmacology is all good. The stuff about cooked meat being terrible is nonsense.
