Is energy availability a lot important to reach your full height potential or you can still grow to your full height potential in a calorie deficit?

humans cant enter a calorie deficit since humans cant consume a „calorie”. fat loss from calorie restriction is not a accurate indicator. the best fat loss in puberty is going to be 0 carbs. im on raw carnivore at 16 and im shredding fat + growing faster than i used to grow while i was „carbmaxxing” after being brainwashed by lowiq tiktoks

if ur not working out i agree but if your doing high physical activity carbs are better and can be used better by the body as energy fuel . Tho ur take is good:feelspanties:

very nice thread just read it but if im high body fat 20 - 23 percent ? Like they didnt specificy for cases like mine thats why like im not fat but not lean in any way

like wouldnt my body fat cause a lot of aromatization since im a decently high body fat and close the growth plates earlier

reta is always an option, as long as ur monitoring your calories and not being malnourished.
generally from what i've heard, being active and being in a 200-300 calorie deficit while not eating much sugar (if any at all) is the best way to go about cutting during puberty. especially paired with reta. but dont go overboard!!!!!!!!!!!

and the thing you said about aromatisation is correct too. 20-23% isnt that unusual during puberty though, the more you progress through puberty the easier it gets to lose weight. im speaking from experience, even though i havent really worked out seriously.

i aint got money for reta but thanks a lot so basically going about it is just working out regularly moving a lot and eating healthy making sure u hit every single vitamin mineral etc.:feelsautistic:

Well to put it simply, growth is directly related to igf-1 which gets impacted negatively whenever you’re in a constant caloric deficit. Gymcelling is tricky for teens.

no gluconeogenesis is more stable for energy - has been proven. a lot of bikers are on carnivore. carbs have NO benefits unless you think you look better bloated and with acne
