They all follow the simple pattern: agricultural expansion -> population growth -> golden age -> even more population growth -> behavioural sink -> collapse
Seems the next stage is to identify preventions for behavioural sinks, with the only available method being some form of eugenics whatever that may look like. I wonder if first world nations will realise this before they inevitably stagnate/collapse
