is finasteride a small T booster biologically

my reasoning
Normally, an enzyme grabs some of your testosterone and turns it into DHT. Finasteride kills that enzyme. Since that exit is now closed, the testosterone that was supposed to become DHT just stays as testosterone.

it should correlate just wondering if anyone did some good research because i can’t find any good studies on it
