Never understood this, lifting is not any different from any other menial labour, literally the most monotonous and tedious activity in existance. Are normies larping when they talk about gym as their hobby because they cope with thinking it will make them attractive some day? It's a lot better for the ego to imagine that you are 6 months away from being a slayer after you are done cutting and finally have your dream body or whatever. They're in for a rude awakening when skinny and tall Chad steals their oneitis.

What I found about exercise, that the more you do it, the more your body enjoys it and the
more you understand why people get addicted

No, I went to the gym for a bit to lose bloat back inbetween November-January and then it closed sometime around February I think and I am never going back again, I felt very framemogged and mascmogged :trepidation:

Actually no, lifting is a very good hobby.

1. You can do it whenever you want if you have access to 24/7 gym
2. It's cheap. Even home gym isn't very expensive compared to truly expensive hobbies.
3. It's good for health
4. It improves your SMV

True, majority of gymcels are ugly, overweight and short, and many people who go to the gym won't come back after a week,
and on top of that nobody really does proper research on how to eat which is important

personally I swim, I think that execrise is good including gymceling, I just don't think that gymceling for building enough muscle is useful if you are a natty, I opened a thread about it yesterday

a healthy medium is great, i prefer a more relaxed approach to life.

the type of body you describe can only be achieved through truecell lifestyle and unemployment

or keep getting all your life experience from paper journals written by corrupt truecells.

Yep.

Starting lifting or cardio is hard. But after you do it a while not doing it is hard. At least in my experience.

you cant outlift your pheno, the look of these protein drink consumer's face when they limp out defeated from the gym after a chest session is enough to scare anyone from lifting, it is poison for your soul and will destroy your health and vigour

Actually, I will build a home gym. Cheaper and more convenient than a proper gym.

Thanks, OP.

when the lockdown came my shoulders became so small and I looked very pale and unhealthy from sitting home all day, its hard to say exactly what changes happen to your looks that make you look sick, but the sick look is real for sure, I was told by multiple people that
and when I returned to swimming and normal life, I got told that I look normal again

Umm, what?

I don't have a home gym. I have a barbell, some plates, and a couple of dumbbells.

But in the future, I will build a home gym. I only need a bench, squat rack, bench rack, some plates, and dumbbells. Doesn't cost a lot. Less than 1500 $ I think. Not that expensive.

By home gym I mean buying all equipment I need to lift, not building some fancy gym with weird, fancy machines that I wouldn't never use.

maybe a balkan construction worker can build it for him, they may have a lot in common

i can guarantee that every gym goer has at least one balkan ancestor from the last 200 years

This is an example of what I mean by the home gym. Just basic equipment.

Those incels who are naturally not masculine in personality, or hate masculinity in general may avoid muscle-maxxing despite it's proven benefits and they may hyperfocus on less studied looksmaxxing, such as fashion.

no but it feels good to be strong and fit and healthy

Sometimes yes, when you workout for some time you kind of achieve a feeling similar to the “runner’s high” which releases a dopamine rush through your body

High t trait: having fun/looking foward to lift tbh
