Never understood this, lifting is not any different from any other menial labour, literally the most monotonous and tedious activity in existance. Are normies larping when they talk about gym as their hobby because they cope with thinking it will make them attractive some day? It's a lot better for the ego to imagine that you are 6 months away from being a slayer after you are done cutting and finally have your dream body or whatever. They're in for a rude awakening when skinny and tall Chad steals their oneitis.

If the gym was actually fun, people wouldn’t take caffeine and have music blasting in their ears. Sure getting a pump is fun. Getting a pump takes 10-15 minutes MAX. Not an hour or half an hour. The real minority that truly enjoy the gym are those who go, no headphones, no preparation, the ones wearing outrageous outfits being made fun of, likely ND, and they go regardless of the gains. They don’t care if they hurt themselves they aren’t doing it for improvement they are doing it for enjoyment, improvement is ajust a rather positive side effect. They’ll go even if they can only go for 10 minutes because of the schedule that day. And when they have free time they’ll go for like hours and barely stay on there phone. Don’t listen to copers on the internet claiming they genuinely find the gym fun, they find looking good fun, or feeling better about themselves fun.
