I know many ugly people who aren't depressed. There are people in worse life situations who aren't depressed. They are people going through war who end up less depressed. The actual mental illness depression definitely not.
But most people who feel depressed don’t have an actual depression. They are just fucked by certain things in their life like being ugly which causes symptoms of a depression. In this case it might be curable to some extend in 2 weeks if the factors which cause the depressive feeling get reduced
it’s cuz they don’t know every feature that makes them uglyI know many ugly people who aren't depressed.

Im starting to believe mental resillience is a genetic quality tbh.

We could probably deal with war and shit too if we had the basics in our life correct, such as having a loyal wife, being able to buy our own homes and having responsibility. This is the reason why people got married so young back then, it puts a man in a good position to navigate a tough life. Men used to go into chemical infested coal mines, used to go up hundred metre buildings to clean the windows without harnesses, worked in construction jobs with very little health and safety procedures, why? Because they had the mental fortitude to do so because their basic needs were met and had responsibility. You take away these things and you end up where we are now, depression rates and suicide keep climbing
What SSRI did you take? I'm on Wellbutrin (not an SSRI)It is a chemical imbalance in your brain. I took ssris and after a couple months my brain chemestry changed and I could easilly do tasks that were previously impossible unless I was forced to do them.

It is genetic which can be triggered by huge stress in life. My sister have bipolar disorder and she cannot control her depression episodes. She was sometimes sad and crying even when she was just kid.It must be genetic. My brain can only ever see the negatives in all situations I am depressed most of the time. Others don’t understand what I’m so depressed about and tell me about the positives I have that my brain didn’t even notice
I was normal legit cheerful till i got one depressive episode that lasted a year + at 13 and ever since then I have been very different and at the very least borderline depressedIt is genetic which can be triggered by huge stress in life. I take paxil/paroxetine. It is for depression and anxitey. I went from barely being motivated to getting out of bed to working out 6 times a week and reading 4 hours straight. What SSRI did you take? I'm on Wellbutrin (not an SSRI)
