I always thought that I have a normal maxilla with average forward growth, though I have weak cheekbones, infraorbital support, and I have a weak jawline if I chintuck ( though that may be caused by my low set hyoid ).

what tells me that my maxilla isnt that recessed is my non flat face, 115 degree gonial angle, pretty long ramus and jaw body, chin that lines up with the nasion and no underbite.

So is having short and downturned lips a sign of a recessed maxilla ( worse than average recession as most people dont have such lips)? I feel like I have way too much soft tissue/skin on my face, and if I pull my skin from the cheekbone area I look so much better. I also have some mild nasolabial folds.

sorry if the whole thing sounds stupid because Im pretty sure it is...

It’s a sign of autism, you may need to get an evaluation op.

this site is trash. Idk why I thought I could find help here

Also my lips arent downturned, not sure why I said that, I meant that the upper vermilion border is somehow downturned and not like your average lips, as it comes down before the end of the lips line. And the lips line ( oral commisure ) is straight. So its not a sign of autism.
