Is hyoid suspension actually any good for neck aesthetics?

Talking about hyomandibular suspension here, hyothyroid suspension obviously won't do shit for neck aesthetics and will most likely even worsen neck contour.

Is the upward movement of the hyoid bone enough to improve the cervicomental angle? And same goes for the forward movement, could it worsen it or is it not significant enough? Is hyoid suspension a good surgery from an aesthetic standpoint or is it only useful to treat sleep apnea?

Hyoid suspension does not really work from what I've heard. It relapses too quick.

Eppley told me a good alternative is a submental platysmal muscle plication.

It also depends on the reason for one's bad cervicomental angle. A lot of people who think they need a necklift need a genioplasty, which stretches the submental skin out further.

dont wast time on this procedure

Digastric plication with platysmaplasty is way bettrr at raising hyoid bone.

Or digastric corset

Or deep necklift by dr nayak
