Is it better to stay in a saturated city or move to a smaller town to build your life and opportunities?

Hi everyone,

If you live in a city where everything feels saturated, jobs are competitive, industries are crowded, standards are high, and costs are rising, is it smarter to stay and compete, or move to a smaller nearby town where there’s less competition and potentially more space to grow?
I mean, this doesn’t only apply to entrepreneurship, but also things like career development, starting projects, building a reputation, creating a sports organization, or simply designing a better lifestyle

In a big city, there are more opportunities, that is real, but also more competition and pressure. Or even if you failed, you could being labeled by people that know about you. What about starting of from screatch in a nearby town?
In smaller towns, there may be fewer opportunities overall, but also fewer competitors, meaning you could stand out more easily, also, you could find something that is missing there, which you did have in the city, and bring it there, and make all people around happier.

I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually made this kind of move and how it affected their career, finances, and overall life satisfaction, and life prosperity

Thanks in advance.

if you are younger move to the city you will enjoy it much more, but it also depends on what you do for work
