Dude, if you lived in the hood parts of the UK, then being ethnic isn't as big of a failio - as long as the ethnics weren't outnumbered by white chavs.

But the higher up you go in society, the harder the ethnic tax hits you. I go to a decent uni and played hockey (middle class white person sport), when I went to house parties my hockey team was nice to me (because they knew me) but the other hockey teams treated me worse than other whites.

For example, if you were white, expect to be approached by other white guys and they'll speak to you and shit. But if you're brown, no one is going to approach or speak to you, people are less comfortable around you and so you end up with a much harder time to socialise
