It’s cause you spend your day looking at chads in photos then your eyes naturally feel like something is missing when you see your pic.
Other people don’t seem to descend so much in pics of them doing facial expressions vs neutral though

Not really tbh- have quite prominent cheekbones- forward grown maxilla, mandible is slightly reccessed tho
I have a deep bite but dental compensation so maybe that’s why
