is it normal to not bleed when microneedling ?

i use a 1mm dermaroller on beard and sometimes on acne scars and i don't bleed , i just get a very mild redness that goes away after like 15 minutes JFL

and i'm pressing hard enough and rolling 3 times for each direction

is my skin too thick for microneedling ?

i start to bleed at 1.5mm but I use a dermapen, not a roller

Well, I'm not even sure. Perhaps you require a larger needle in order for it to penetrate your skin. Alternately, you can simply be doing it incorrectly.
