Weren't there evil gods in some religiouns.

Also its generally evil to expect people to believe in you and if they don't punish them for no reason

Christianity, Islam and Judaism you only follow ONE god which is the creator of the universe. But other religions like Hinduism, Pagan gods is where you worship multiple idols which literally makes no sense
