Is it possible to achieve chin projection with overbite correction?

Hello so im 15 years old rn and im very soon going to see a specialist to fix my bite. I have quite a narrow palatte, approx 35 mm and also a deep bite/overbite with a 6 mm overlap when i bite down. My jaw wants to rest more forwards and slides forward when i rest it. It feels like its Held back if that makes sense. Anyways im prob getting mse together with bite blocks and im wondering if chin projection changes are to expect. And if so how many mm we talking?

I asked something similar, truthfully most people dont know jack shit so when there is a genuine question a lot of people simply ignore it as they dont actually know anything

From someone who got a deep bite fixed you won’t see dramatic changes, but it will most likely improve slightly. Surgery is usually the best solution aesthetic wise, to be honest. These are questions you should be asking your orthodontist not uneducated losers on incel forums. Make sure you do your research and find a good orthodontist with good before & after results and explain all your concerns

With what method did you get it fixed and did you see even any recession? Im not doing it purely from aestethic its mostly just to fix my bite.
