I've seen many posts about how it's never over and that you can change how you look (not talking about surgery) naturally. Whether it's through habits like diet, sleep, working out, or other physical facial exercises such as zygomatic pulling or thumb pulling. I lurk here and read that it's all cope and that it really comes down to what you are born with. Not to sound ignorant, but I see pretty trustworthy people like Jordan Wood discussing thumb pulling and its effectiveness. So my question is, should I stop thumb pulling/zygomatic pulling and accept my genetics? Thanks.

It’s legitimately not all genetics but it’s heavily genetics. You legit need to have good posture and tongue placement else you will become recessed no matter your genetics tbh

Most people can do a lot to improve their looks via softmaxxing since the average person doesn't take great care of themselves. But once you've eliminated most obvious flaws like high bodyfat, bad skin, hair, etc then your options are very limited.
I don't believe there's any actual proof for things like thumbpulling or mewing, and it mostly goes back to genetics.

So if you have no apparent flaws that can be easily softmaxxed, you could probably just ascend 0,5-1 point from doing multiple small things, and if you want a further increase surgery is the only solution.

Thanks for the reply and clarity! I don’t want to seem pushy but what’s your opinion on thumb pulling and zygo pulling? Should I stop?

If you're not clinically recessed and you don't have acne/excessive bodyfat, your look is entirely from your genetics

Thumbpulling might work in theory but it’s mostly gonna cause you to become asymmetrical or even downgrown. Zygopulling is a meme tbh

Genetics, Nutrition since childhood, sports since childhood, good posture since chilldhood. If you start in late puberty there will be no to minimal changes after puberty there will be no changes. Your looks depend on genetics and a good diet, sports since childhood

no but unless you blast after 18 there is no changing your face or height. If your nutrition was on point during childhood, you chew actual tough foods and exercised you could change your face but thats still in your genetic material. Only way to escape genetics is artificial
