i just tried flat iron for the first time to make my hair more wavy, and the results are insane compared to just normal hair

just twirl the flat iron upwards to make it more wavy.

should i get a perm or is this method better?

That's too short for the desired effect it took me originally a good 6months to get the good length for a real fringe. Today I just go to the hair stylist when it start to get too long and I tell him to don't cut it too short.

I don't think Perm ever looked good tbh

Bro at the length right now, iron is best, play around with t for a while, it may need to be a bit longer, tmk if you perm method it at this lengthfrom what I’ve seen IRL it’ll look odd, but it should work rn try out and work with the iron.
