Is it worth getting braces for a slight overbite?

I have a slight overbite (maybe only a few mm) that has resulted in a slightly recessed chin, would getting any kind of braces fix this? I'm 20 btw

overbite emphasizes the recessed chin, is your chin recessed or your overbite makes it look like it? Would need pictures

isnt a slight overbite ideal anyway?

This is how you would look like, more foreword movement on lower teeth and some backward movement on upper.

Not sure if braces is worth it, depends how your teeth look like, but genio +rhino would ascend you a bit.

Getting braces will fix the overbite, but not the recession in your profile.

Your situation is a tricky one tbh. Your chin is a bit recessed, but going through a genioplasty for minor improvement is tough to decide.

There is improvement on the right, but not enough to make anyone go "damn that's a massive change."

IMO, go for a genio only when money is no longer a huge concern.
