I’m scared that if I do get lean, my eye area will droop even more. Although there’s barely any fat in that area anyway so idk if anything would happen

Nice but doesn’t it migrate to another part of your face after a while?

You could fix your under eye support with fat transfer, fillers or infraorbital rim implants but if you’re not in to that stuff, I suppose it depends on which you value more, looking lean or your eye area, I’d go for looking lean and just get fillers or something.

I mean. I have seen this theoretical claim a lot but not really any concrete evidence or case studies, it is also possible to get it dissolved it you find it move. Doctors still say it dissolves after a year or so, and is locked in place after about 2 weeks.
For the large improvement I got, honestly, it is worth the tiny risk. Less than 50 people per million get serious complications, so 0.005%, which are oods I can take, and that is just based on data from American procedures done, and world total complications, so like it is even lower than this.
The biggest problem is it might be a waste of money, because sometimes result vary based on your individual response, your depth/shape of trough and competency of doctor. Fortunately for me, I went to eye specialist, and got good results, as my case was a good candidate, mine were genetically originated and even visible in early teenage/child hood pictures.

At the end of the day, do the research, it is your risk to take, your money to spend, and whether your case warrants it, but just speaking from PERSONAL experience one month in, I would recommend. I'll let you know again if these results hold up with no complications in a year or so.
