Had my first pro session a few weeks ago and the results were decent but since then I've read some people say that it's damaging in the long term, is it true?

Microneedling for skin/face? or for hair? I would say it is rather safe if you are staying away from sun few days after microneedling session since sun damage are probably much bigger on microneedled skin

Same boat, had my first session for acne scars a week ago

Skin, I want to collagenmax

I read here last year that you need to combine your microneedling with 2.5% iodine. The iodine dissolves scar tissue. Here is one study. Rely on it at your own risk: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19168293/
