Is mouthbreathing a meme?

Like, obviously mouthbreathing is not ideal, but over the years on lookism, looksmax and these sort of places, there have been a lot of people saying that they are subhuman because of being a mouthbreather, but is mouthbreathing really the reason for not having forward growth or having developed properly in the face? A lot of people chalk it down to just that.

Nah it can fuck your face but most people mouth breathe especially at night in the winter and in sports etc so only extreme mouth breathing fucks you up

I have average forward growth even though I mouthbreathed throughout my entire developmental years, but parts of my face are obviously downward grown. I think mostly genetics come first but it can stop you getting to your genetic potential
