Is my local Chinese restaurant run by slave labor from sex slaves?

I go a lot because they have very good prices, 10$ all you can eat. After observing a few things I’m 90% sure they save money by using illegal labor.


- They only hire Chinese women that look 35-50 years old.

- all the workers come and go in a white van with no windows that’s always parked in the same spot

- they all work 12+ hours a day, 7 days a week

- only the owner is related to some people, all the other workers are completely unrelated and from China.

- They seem to be completely cut off from American culture, my relative talk to one who didn’t know that Americans have Sunday off or what a hamburger was

They're not sex slaves but they might be illegal. And they might be paying off a debt to the snake heads (human smugglers).

If you walk down busy streets in a Chinatown like in New York or whatever you'll see all kinds of signs in Chinese recruiting workers to go all over the US to work at different restaurants. The restaurants pay the recruiters a finder's fee and usually buy the workers a bus ticket to wherever their restaurant is located. They'll usually rent or buy a house in the suburbs to house their employees. That's why the ones at your local restaurant come and go in a white van. They're all living in the same house and have converted it into a dorm.

Of course they don't know about American culture. Most of them have just overstayed their student or tourist visas. They're sending money back to China.

Its mostly really old people who are 80 and still working 12 hrs a day. Working at a chinese restauruant is brutal.
