Mb for the shitty pics but it’s all I have.
I’ve had my first visit to the orthodontist today. They took an x-ray pic then took pictures of my teeth, and I had talked with the orthodontist with my dad about what procedure they would need to do to fix my teeth crowding. He said he would need to take out 5 teeth (an extra because I had a root canal when I was younger bc I didn’t brush one section of my teeth enough) with the other 4 being my premolars. I tried to argue that I didn’t want my teeth removed and why not just get an expander and go from there, but they shut me down and my dad wasn’t listening to me.
I don’t know shit about orthodontics but I did enough research to know that it will fuck my airways up and my face aesthetically (or not, idrk
). What do I do and what should I argue to get instead.. hopefully i’ll be able to convince my dad.
(I’m 15 and I think my palate is fusing but not entirely fused)
