is oral castor oil the same as topical ?

can i just drink topical castor oil or do i have to look specifically for oral castor oil ?

i can't find it in any store i just find the regular topical solution

It's basically the same thing. It should be written in the product itself if it is fit for oral consumption.

From what I gathered reading threads oral seems to be better, but i wouldn't be able to say why. I think I will both apply it topically and use it orally
