i mean im considering fat grafts or implants. theres a lot of hollowing in the canine fossa. malar fat pads definitely contribute to it but when i pull my skin up the hollowing is still there. ive heard mixed opinions on paranasal implants from different surgeons and how it has high complication rates. and fat grafts will require multiple sessions and i assume doesnt replicate bone nearly as well

Why not fillers?
And don't talk about migration

Nigga you order it on the internet, search prp kits, they are like 20$ then youll need a centrifuge for like total it becomes 100 if you buy a cheap one, follow instructions and stick you blood and let it spin then take the stuff you want and inject that shit

Youll find more detailed instructions online or youtube for prf and prp diy

Maybe you just need to get rid of the fat drooping down

Yes, but maybe it's not actually hollow there but the malar is just big and protrusive relative to the paranasal region creating the illusion of a recessed paranasal region

i think u should try fat graft first

Try pushing down on the malar fat pad above your naso fold if they disappear it may just be a fat issue

I did my second aqualyx session in the malar fat pad a week ago to exactly try and fix that issue btw

how did it go
I made a thread on it but as for results the swelling has only now reduced significantly. Hoping to see results soon but aqualyx usually takes a couple weeks after for results so I'm praying rn. But after my first session I didn't notice any difference really

it gives me the ick in midface and i dont even think it would help. it doesnt show up in good lighting but my canine fossa is super recessed theres literally no bone support and everything droops

Anyone with naso folds under 30 y/o and less than 25% bf just has a recessed upper maxilla, getting to a lower bf will help but not eliminate para folds

Try do the “duck face”, if that reduces the para lines it’s a recessed upper jaw problem

Solution is either bimax which probably won’t completely fix on its own (need fat grafting/fillers too)

Or just fat grafting/fillers

Since it’s a longterm structural issue, fillers aren’t as good as fat grafting imo

A MF plastic surgeon I respect advised against paranasal implants as he said it could make the base of the nose too undefined

Although I’m not convinced he’s correct, he’s European and these PS don’t have a lot of experience with paranasal implants

If you’re going to get paranasal implants you should do them in Asia as they are the experts due to a high % of flat maxilla’s in their population

i found a clinic that does custom paranasal implants in madrid.
i was considering fat grafts but it often requires multiple sessions and my recession in that area is so bad that just more fat likely wouldnt be enough.

Paranasal implants replicate bone structure best and give permanent correction fat grafts help fill but never truly replace bone, and usually require multiple sessions. Structural hollowing responds to implants, soft tissue hollowing to fat choose based on what’s actually missing.

Probably a mistake unfortunately

If your recession is really bad then you should consider bimax

If not fat grafting will produce anywhere from 90% as good to an even better result

Especially going to a euro surgeon

I dissgree. The fat pad there plays a major role aswell and some people just have a big one, even at a low bodyfat. And if anything wouldnt the problem rather stem from recessed lower maxilla than the upper. But I agree that more maxillary projection helps alot obviously. However making a duck face will always always reduce the folds as you are stretching the skin in that area and stretching it forward masking hollowness in the paranasal area.

I’d recommend doing other alternatives first
