Imo psl is more about ratios, and appeal contains smv as in having a lot of money or having status will be appealing to women.

They are dissociated because someone like Benny Blanco can be appealing to women although im sure he doesn't have much psl, because his status and money will attract.

You can't rate somebody "x psl" because it is not what really matters.
