I think so but I am biased.
@MakinItHappenReturn has a Punjabi pheno, I have a punjabi pheno, so did most of Bollywood until the 2000s when muh diversity came in.

I think it's a more appealing pheno on the west, basically cos it's similar to Persian and med phenos, but it could be that in India punjabi pheno is not desired at all.
