I legit do not understand how some guys are recessed yet still have broad and compact faces from the front.

He used to have shitty teeth before surgery which is further evidence that he is recessed/has craniofacial dystrophy.

No his upper maxilla is not even weak as he doesn't have shit undereye support or a concave nose. Literally none of his maxilla is weak. The male maxilla just doesn't "pop" the way the female does. Males have more vertical growth of the maxilla because we have taller skulls. As a result or maxilla or even overall jaw will never look proportionally forward grown the same way a woman's would

The reason his jaw looks good from front and 3/4ths is because he has a tall ramus, strong chin. His actual mandible though is recessed. He used to have really fucked up teeth though he got surgery.

That's the entire point. Lower third matters only from the front obviously just like chin. They can be tall even if you don't have a super prominent mandible. Which is why forward growth is a meme for men
