No its not.
RU by itself is kinda useless because its nowhere near potent enough to cancel out dht.
The only thing its good at is cleaning up excess testosterone from the scalp but you still need to combat dht somehow.

But doesn't it bind to the hair follicle competing with dht for it?

Yea but its binding affinity is still very weak compared to dht.
It can compete with testosterone thats about it

Fin sides are a meme unless your balls are the size of grapes and you already have gyno/androgen problems

Your body adjusts after a week or two of having less DHT, stops sending it to fuck up your hair and everything goes back to normal

Doesn't dht have important role in some stuff in males past 20? It can't just be there for no reason, wasn't it important for erections?

it just doesn't seem so. the data on side effects from fin is clear as day.

what you could argue is that 5AR is also responsible for converting a bunch of other stuff besides DHT that might serve a purpose in theory. but even then the outcome data is what matters. and the outcome data is heavily in favor of fin.

In teenagers it's extremely important but in adults not really. Fin only takes you down to 33% of normal dht anyways, keeps enough around to satisfy whatever random mechanism that isn't fucking up your hair.

just go bald how bad could it be

Good to use when running steroids. Fin and Dut act directly on 5ar so you ideally need both a 5ar inhibitor and topical anti androgen when running cycles

Post-finasteride syndrome (PFS) describes persistent sexual, neurological, physical and mental adverse reactions in patients who have taken finasteride, a 5-alpha reductase type II enzyme inhibitor used to treat hair loss (under the brand name Propecia or generics) or enlarged prostate (Proscar or generics). Unfortunately, PFS is a condition with no known cure and few, if any, effective treatments. As an increasing number of men report their persistent side effects to health and regulatory agencies worldwide, medical and scientific communities are only beginning to realize the scope of the problem.

Get bald and roid :lul:
