After suffering with acne for over a year I finally went to a dermatologist, she kept on topicalmaxxing for 3-4 months but when things weren't changing she finally prescribed me isotret but didn't raise the dose from 40 mg a week at all because "I am only 18", don't know how that works. So I finally decided to ditch the doctor and I have started with a low dose of 20 mg per day and will gradually up the dosage to 60-70 mg per day (which will be equivalent to my body weight) . I already have my baseline labs and will monitor my liver health with future bloodwork while also constantly monitoring common side effects.
I ordered 40 caps from Amazon Pharmacy using my previous prescription (only 4 caps were prescribed to me yet the pharmacy approved it) and will use the same prescription again by editing the date mentioned.
I want some advice whether this is a good idea, any other suggestions would be appreciated.

20mg is enough for most people
No it's fucking not? I know it has become a popular practice to run low dose accutane for longer period of time but I don't have "mild" Acne + I ain't waiting a whole ass year for this
