Look man this is the honest take on it. The reason guys like John Mayer prefer masturbation is two fold. 1. Sex does get old, it's true that the first few times you do it with a girl, if you like her, feels insanely good, like heavenly good. But later on, it stops feeling as good (that's why couples tend to slow down how much sex they have as the relationship becomes older). 2. When having sex there's a whole other person you gotta deal with and take into consideration.
