Is side profile overvalued? (Basic question but still)

I think it is, imo it only matters if its significantly better in comparison to your front profile, or significantly worse, no in between
People act like being mildly recessed means its over even if HTN front JFL (Also one of the most fixable things with surgery, in comparison to other procedures which are not only risky but costly like orbital shit)

tbh side profile has the least importance, people see your true side like 5% of the time lol

still need to imrpove it tho anyway

in isolation both matter a lot, besides, a lot of the time recession will result in narrow and short lower third from the front anyway

Agree but improving naturally is done 99% in early puberty and before, everything after is cope, bimax and rhino fix most of ur problems and in many countries are free

Of course, but I said it only "matters" if its significantly worse than the front, if we are just looking at the face objectively and what it looks like, ignoring the impact some features have on other features. If you have a short/narrow lower third from the front you already look bad the side profile doesn't make it worse it just reflects that
