Is Skyrim worth playing?

Plaid it once for like couple of hours, but it felt too repetitive with nothing interesting in it. Didn't understand anything either, I just fleed the dragon to some stupid town to meet some vikang king and kill some skeletons from a dungeon. Does it get any better honestly? Witcher 3 was boring too ngl. Mostly because it felt too restricting, you can't do anything other than the quest line. You can't beat up a civilian, because that's not what geralt wants to do. Booriiiing...

Yeah by far it is, put over 1000+ hours into it lol over the past almost 10 years. The different factions and stuff all have their own story, and there’s a lot of depth both in lore, exploration and gameplay to the game once you explore more of the game. I think the RPG aspect can make it feel repetitive or boring because you have so much freedom, but believe me it does get better when you progress further into the game and get to find out more about the world. Witcher 3 is pretty great as well and imo on par or maybe better than Skyrim, but that’s because of gameplay, not lore. But both are my favorites. Maybe it depends what kinda genres you’re into as well? Cuz my favorites are Skyrim, Witcher 3, and Kingdom Come. I’m mainly into fantasy/historical games, and can’t get into sci-fi/shooting games and the like
