Physically you can take care of yourself after surgery. Emotionally is another question entirely. However since you are here on looksmax you are already dead inside so should be fine. Plenty of people have done it alone.

Typically recovery staff in recovery houses are not nurses and Dont need to have much clinical knowledge. They are just to assist you with normal things and observe you for the first 24-48 hours after surgery as a family member usually would.

If you are paying a private person then yes you usually pay them AND their travel expenses. You may find a friend who just wants to go to italy that would do it for travel expenses (but they need to know for the first few days it wont be much of a vacation)

My biggest worry going alone is the psychological impact of seeing my new face as its large movements we are doing including a crooked nose rhinoplasty.
