I've had a couple of train suicides come into my Emergency Department. Usually they have massive injuries which are incompatible with life and they come in already intubated and die in the ED or in ICU. However, if you fuck it up and the train just clips you then you'll be stuck on the tracks with a dozen broken bones screaming for hours while they shut down the whole rail network to allow Paramedics to come and get you.

I recommend not killing yourself though.

Are you talking about potassium maybe? If you give yourself hyperkalaemia (high serum potassium) then you will eventually go into cardiac arrest. Apparently some prisons used it as an execution method back in the day. Usually old people with kidney failure on dialysis get problems with hyperkalaemia.
