After reading everyone’s opinions on the matter I’m more confused than before.
Is sun really aging the skin? Do we need constant spf?
Goatis (yea kinda crazy guy ik but he has good reasoning sometimes) says in fact sun antiages.
Idk what to think anymore

Too much sun can age the skin but just around 20 minutes straight of sitting out in the sun can have positive effects. It depends really nigga.

The ray peat community is divided af on the matter, some sunbathe and some don’t.
Raw primals do sunbathe.
Skincare specialists and normies think sun is harmful and aging and protect themselves whenever they can.

But yea at this point I think the gold spot is to sunbathe enough to produce vit D but not enough to produce melanin

The thing is studies all point to the fact that sun is aging af but looking at hollywood celebs, the raw meat community and such all do sunbathe and look younger than the avg skincare spf guy

AFAIK if you use tanning beds the lower the pression, the better. Only 1/2 levels then

Both have, Vit D is produced by yourself by converting UVB energy
Tanning beds gives off uva not uvb

If you live in a hot area why use tanning beds when you have the sun

Use tanning beds if you live in a cold place where sun is rare

That’s why I prior said to use Level 1 and 2 tanning beds, those have UVB as well

I thought it’s common knowledge that sun ages you jfl. But yes common spf is necessary, use 50 spf sunscreen and renew it every 2-3 hours if constantly outside.
