Is surgery worth it for me?

I posted these pics on Reddit and people laughed telling me I didn’t need it. I feel like people r more brutally honest on here which is what I’m hoping for. I think I could benefit a lot but I’m not sure. Is it worth going to talk to a jaw surgeon?

I think I look bad cause I’m recessed. I looked a lot better as a kid so I feel like surgery could help.

Hello, please don’t listen to any negative responses on this thread, you are an excellent candidate for surgery, redditors tend to be narcissistic and completely wrong in subs for surgery. Don’t expect anything from them unless your jaw is recessed into your neck.

Your base is good but what you mainly lack is definement (for example your eyebrows are too light, dyeing them black is an excellent and instant softmaxx.) I recommend castor oil for your eyelashes to get them longer and then possibly dyeing them black as well to get the most out of them. Your eyes themselves are good, besides some UEE, you have a downturned medial canthus and neutral/positive tilt. I would recommend canthoplasty to fix your scleral show (the thing that gives you dead eyes.)

For your jaw, I strongly recommend a Bimax, you can get one for cheap in Europe (15k~) and it’ll very well define your face. If the Bimax doesn’t fix it, I’d also recommend getting a nosejob to fix the bump on your nose and make it more aesthetic/ideal.

After all this, you’ll easily be MHTN+. That picture of you as a kid is quite adorable, make sure you don’t fail him.

Thanks for the response. Where in Europe? I'm technically a danish citizen so maybe it'd be cheaper for me there.

Apparently procedures like Bimax are free in Denmark as long as you can get approved for it, but generally anywhere in Europe is pretty cheap, I’d recommend Italy which is where most forum users look for their jaw surgery.

I wouldn’t say I have any functional issues that are obvious enough to get approved for surgery in Denmark but looking at surgeons in Italy pagnoni looks like a great pick. Would you agree?
