I'm Fitzpatrick 1 and I look like a ghost without a deep tan from Melanotan II or a bottle spray tan.

Sad, but it is what it is. Your muscle definition as a pale guy is also 3x worse.
All that hard work at the gym goes to waste unless you stay at something untenable like 8% body fat year round.

With a tan you can stay at 12-13% and have ripped abs, and visible bicep separation.
A tan is the greatest visual illusion there is for men. Creates shadows and accentuates muscles even in bad or overhead lighting.

Which is why there are zero pale bodybuilders in competitions. You don't have to go as far as those oiled up bronzed monsters but there is a middle ground between that and snow white.
