Is the risk of nerve damage in high cut lefort very much more than normal lf1 cut

The risk must be a bit higher but the cut is done around the infraorbital foramen to avoid nerve damage.

The infraorbital foremen are basically two small holes in the skull which store blood vessels and nerves.

This is an example of the cut - the two little holes as you can see from this are cut around to prevent any nerve damage:

It can effect midface height ryt?

No. Maybe elevate the nasal tip like LF1 can but that’s about it. Not even high level osteotemies make the midface more compact. I can’t think of a surgery that actually makes the midface shorter.
