Is there a difference between body sunscreen and face sunscreen?

I just bought a big bottle of 50 spf sunscreen for men (it's transparent, doesn't leave white cast) and my sister said it's meant for body not face. What the fuck is the difference? It doesn't say anything about face or body on the bottle.
