Yes of course. Two different categories. Natural: an example would be reconstituted collagen I gels (from rat tail). Or Matrigel basement membrane extract.
Synthetic hydrogels would be something like polyacrylamide gel or PEG-based hydrogels that may be additionally functionalized with ECM components such as collagen, fibronectin, you name it.
